Accommodation overview: COSY COTTAGE IN PEACEFUL VILLAGE LOCATION This picturesque semi-detached property nestles in the pretty village of Branscombe, mostly owned by the National Trust Branscombe is a beautiful valley which meanders down to the sea, past wooded hillsides and clusters of thatched cottages. Guests will be just a short stroll to The Fountain Head Inn, which is one of two pubs in the village, both serving good food. A twenty minute downhill walk takes you past The Masons Arms and onto the pebble beach with beach café. Keen walkers will be spoilt for choice with access to many country lanes and cliff-top walks to enjoy. There is much to see and do in the area with attractions to suit all tastes including the popular seaside towns of Sidmouth and Lyme Regis, numerous National Trust properties and gardens, historic Exeter with its leisure facilities, Crealy Devon Adventure Park, The Blackdown Hills and much more. In the evenings, enjoy some peace and tranquillity in the rear patio garden with seating and BBQ. Alternatively stroll the adjacent bridleway that leads directly from the rear of the cottage, or enjoy a bite to eat and a drink at one of the local inns. The accommodation retains much original charm and character offering TWO bedrooms: 1 double with wall mounted TV. 1 bunk bedroom. Shower room: with WC and heated towel rail.
