A wonderful array of attractions lie nearby including Wells' magnificent cathedral and Bishop's Palace Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole Clarks renowned shopping village at Street and National Trust properties at Barrington Court Lyte's Carey Tintinhull Gardens and Stourhead's fabulous lakeside walk and gardens. The elegant city of Bath Longleat House and Safari Park Poole Harbour and Weymouth's extensive sandy beach are all a little further afield. Coarse fishing in the River Brue is 5 minutes' walk and a pub serving food and shop/P.O. are ½ mile.
