Doire An Daimh is Gaelic for thicket of the stags, which is the name of the mountain behind this delightful property and also describes its lovely woodland setting, where deer and also badger are regular visitors. This bright, modern detached cottage is situated in an elevated position and enjoys stunning views over the hills and mountains, with picturesque Loch Shiel in the foreground. It is immaculately presented with a lovely deep leather suite, luxurious bathroom with large Jacuzzi bath, en suite facilities to the master bedroom, solid oak flooring throughout and a bright, spacious kitchen/breakfast room with separate dining room. It offers total seclusion in a breathtaking setting. A special feature of the cottage is the raised decking areas which provide outside dining space, maximising the amazing views across the Peninsula to the small isles of Muck, Rhum and Eigg to the west. Acharacle is a pretty village. It offers a bakery, small shop, tearoom, pub and restaurant, all within walking distance from the property. Set in 18 acres, there are numerous woodland walks adjoining the cottage (wild chanterelle mushrooms grow nearby - a real treat to add to your breakfast or BBQ).
