Set in an enviable location overlooking Watermouth Castle it boasts breathtaking panoramic sea views from almost every room. In a lovely position surrounded by gardens, this spacious detached home has its own heated outdoor swimming pool in an enclosed setting enjoying splendid views over the coastline, perfect for long leisurely summer days and the stylish interior design allows space for everyone to relax and feel at home. The comfortable sitting/dining room with wrap around balcony terrace and open fireplace, has an expanse of picture windows taking full advantage of the stunning sea views. An attractive well equipped kitchen/diner with range style cooker and granite style worktops is perfect for breakfast or casual meals. A second sitting room on the lower floor leading through to a pretty conservatory, again with sea views, provides additional space to spread out, and a fabulous games room with pool table will bring out the competitive streak in all the family! With two bedrooms on the ground floor and two on the lower ground floor Whimbrels House is ideal for extended families or two families holidaying together. On the ground floor is a twin bedroom and a double bedroom with a gorgeous ensuite bathroom with shower cubicle and a separate dressing room. On the lower ground floor a stylish double bedroom with French doors opening out on to the terrace and additional day bed for flexible sleeping arrangements is served by a lovely family bathroom, while the twin bedroom on this floor benefits from its own ensuite shower room. If you can tear yourself away from this wonderful home there is so much to explore nearby. Enchanting Watermouth Cove is within a short stroll, with its gently sloping shoreline and abundance of rock pools, this naturally sheltered harbour is a popular mooring for colourful boats of all shapes and sizes. Watermouth Castle is one of North Devon’s premier attractions and offers something for all the family, while the nearby Dinosaur and Wildlife Park is a favourite with children. The Sawmill Inn, a character pub and restaurant is within walking distance and there is a wide choice of pubs, restaurants and shops in Ilfracombe and Combe Martin just a few minutes' drive away. With Exmoor National Park to the East, a choice of golden sandy blue flag beaches to the West and with miles of stunning coastal and countryside scenery to enjoy all around, Whimbrels House will help create wonderful holiday memories for years to come. The central village setting is convenient for the character thatched inn serving good food, with further pubs and restaurants, tea rooms and post office stores nearby. Horse riding, indoor pool with flumes etc are available locally, with the superb golf links course at Saunton just a short drive away. Delightful walks on National Trust coastline can be enjoyed from the village. Accommodation is very comfortably furnished, well equipped, and benefits from double glazing and thermostatically controlled electric panel heating throughout. Four bedrooms - triple aspect master room with 'super king size' double bed (6'x6'6"), fitted double wardrobes and distant sea views; dual aspect twin bedded; further double and twin bedded, both with fitted wardrobes.
